More Mall Upgrades in Progress
Cranberry Mall entrance canopies will receive a makeover and new mall signs, and a new pylon signs with an electronic message board will be installed along Route 322. The mall parking lot will also get a facelift with asphalt repairs, sealing, and re-striping of parking spaces and driving lanes.
In fall 2009, mall owners made the commitment to move forward on exterior upgrades as soon as spring 2010 weather will permit. Both the East and South mall entrance canopies, which face Route 322, will be covered in stucco and accented with crown moulding, arches and trim for a more prominent and welcoming look. Five other entrance canopies will be painted to a warm neutral color scheme that complements the mall's interior colors.
